Exemption Greetings to you in the name of the name of Jesus Christ and welcome to another great week in this month of success. We are still exploring the secrets of success and this week, I will like us to address another important secret: The secret of Discipline.

Discipline is defined on dictionary.com as “possessing a sense of mission in the pursuit of any task”.  When life is lived as a mission and tasks are approached with the sense of mission, success becomes inevitable. As a young lad, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ demonstrated a sense of mission in all He did while on earth. This is evident in His response to his parents who were bothered about His whereabouts:

Luke 2:49 “Jesus said to them, “Why did you have to look for me? You should have known that I must be where my Father’s work is.” ERV

The most amazing part of the scripture above to me is that He was only 12 years old when He made that statement and it is next to impossible to find someone at that age with such discipline and sense of mission today. Presently, Jesus is seated in the right Hand of God because of His outstanding success (Hebrews 12:2), which was the outcome of discipline.

Discipline is a major demand for outstanding success but rather than possess a sense of mission and subject to the demands of success, most people  rather opt for what is convenient.

God has planted the seed of greatness in you and I but that seed will not germinate and produce fruits except we daily engage the Key of Discipline in our lives.

I, therefore, implore you to embrace the example of Jesus Christ, approach every task with a sense of mission  and get ready for your testimonies of Success.

God BLESS you.
