Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
As we continue our series this month on the keys to health and wholeness, I will like us to take a look at another vital key: The key of Nutrition.

This very important key is often neglected and overlooked by many, yet it is a very important one. In as much as Revelation and Declaration (which we’ve examined in the past two weeks), play very vital roles in keeping us healthy, it is also as important to feed the body well if we must live in health.

Psalm 103:5 “Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagles.” NKJV

What goes into your mouth as food helps to keep your body fit. This, therefore, makes it necessary that we are mindful of what we eat and drink. As a matter of fact, before we eat anything, we must be sure of its benefit or adverse effect on the body. The question to ask and answer should always be:

  • Am I eating this to please my desire and appetite or is it really good for my body?

Junk foods and drinks may appear attractive and fascinating but the reality of it all is that “there is junk in junk food”. Since every seed produces “after its kind,” healthy food is guaranteed to keep us healthy while junk foods will not.

God needs you and me to extend the influence of His Kingdom here on earth, so we need to take care of our bodies by making the right choices on what to feed our bodies with.

“Health is wealth” so make a right choice in nutrition today for your sound health and wholeness.
