In times like this, it is wise to do a sincere self-appraisal of one’s self. Find time this week to evaluate your performance in the first half of the year and also map out plans and strategies for better performance and results in this next phase of the year – the 2nd Half.
The God we serve is performance-conscious, as evident in the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25 While Jesus was on earth, His high level of performance was apparent to all; people observed Him and said, “He has done everything well” (Mark 7:37). Therefore, make this 2nd half a time of self-development and skill improvement. No matter how good you are at doing anything, there is always a better way of doing the same thing.
Prov 4:18 The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day.” NLT
Thank God for the things you were able to accomplish in the first half but do not settle where you are, move forward, learn something new, challenge yourself to become much better in this 2nd half of the year, beginning from this moment because you have the seed of greatness in you.
I await your testimonies of great feats and accomplishments in this new season.
God BLESS you.
