Greetings to you in the Name of Jesus Christ our LORD and welcome to another blessed and glorious week. As we conclude on our theme this month which is on The Blessing of the LORD as it relates to our finances, I will like us to address with The key of Wisdom.
Wisdom is a principal and key factor in prosperity and wealth creation. Having studied and listened to quite a number of financial gurus and believers who walk in Financial Dominion, I have found out that the one thing they all have in common is Wisdom..
Prosperity is a journey and one of the basic requirements for that journey is WISDOM.
“Riches and honor are mine, lasting riches and being right with God.”
► [Proverbs 8:18 (NLV)]
The verse of scripture above are the words of wisdom, crying out to men to embrace her and enjoy what she has to offer, which of course includes riches.
One of the most common definitions of Wisdom is that Wisdom is the right application of Knowledge. This simply means that one cannot be wise without being knowledgeable, therefore if you must enjoy financial dominion, financial wisdom and intelligence are indispensable requirements because wisdom is the custodian of wealth.
Rather sadly, a lot of Christians pay little attention to acquiring financial knowledge, wisdom and intelligence. As believers, even when we are full of faith and engage in giving, there is need to combine financial intelligence with the practice of the Covenant, in order to really enjoy Financial Dominion.
A study of the life of Solomon gives us a clear picture of how wisdom produces wealth. Solomon being the wealthiest man in his time was also a man full of wisdom. He revealed in Eccl 1:13 that Wisdom was his obsession, as he remained a committed learner.
He placed a high value on wisdom that even when he had an opportunity to ask God for anything else in the world, he chose wisdom. In return, God also added riches and honor unto him (1 Kings 3:12-13). No wonder Solomon confessed that Wisdom is the Principal thing (Proverbs 4:7).
Solomon sought the principal thing, so as I sign off on this series, I beseech you to pursue wisdom and wisdom will produce wealth for you.
God BLESS you!
