From Glory to Glory Greetings to you and welcome to the last week of this month.
As we conclude this series on Enemies of a Glorious Destiny, I’ll like to identify the chief enemy of every glorious destiny. He is Satan himself.
Like you would have already known, every child of God was created and sent to the world to spread the influence of His (God’s) Kingdom on the earth, and Satan’s main occupation is to fight the fulfillment of this assignment.
According to Genesis 1:26, God created man in His image, after His likeness. That was a reflection of His Glory. While in the Garden of Eden, the Glory of God was so radiant and evident in the life of Adam and his wife, Eve.Everything about them was colorful but intimidating to the devil; so much so that he (Satan) wasted no time in attempting to corrupt that glorious destiny. He effected that plan by deceiving and luring Adam and Eve into sinning against God.
Falling into that sin dis-empowered man but thank God for restoration (via salvation through Jesus Christ). When Jesus showed up, Satan was still not done. He made several desperate attempts to abort the glory of salvation through King Herod, who sought to kill Him at a tender age. What an enemy of a glorious destiny!
1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: KJV
Satan attacks visions in different ways because his 3-fold mission is to steal, to kill and to destroy (John 10:10a). You need to be alert and give him no place (Ephesians 4:27) and more importantly, please understand your superiority over him by redemption and place him where he belongs (under your feet) – Romans 16:20.
You have a glorious destiny; you cannot afford to allow Satan rob you of that glorious destiny.
God BLESS you
