Greetings to you in the Name of Jesus Christ and welcome to Week 4 of the month of May 2017.  As we continue exploring the subject of FAITH, our focus this week is on one of the “builders” of Faith, which is PRAYER.

Without a doubt, Faith is not just a very Powerful Force.
It is one of the principal mysteries of the Kingdom of God.
However, as powerful as the force of Faith is, it must be consciously and consistently built in order to maintain its potency and efficacy; and one of the ways of ensuring this is through prayers.

Jude vs 20 “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying…”  KJV

The scripture above reveals that in prayers, faith is built up.
Prayer raises our faith level and helps us to stand firm in our Christian journey. In Luke 22:31-32, Peter, a disciple of Jesus Christ, was a target of the devil. The devil desired to “sift him as wheat” but he was rescued through prayers for his faith. The devil is on a mission to cause Christians to derail and he orchestrates this by attacking our faith. Thankfully, Prayer fortifies Faith and we are able to build strength against his wiles on the altar of prayer.

In Ephesians 6, while addressing the people of Ephesus, Apostle Paul stated that “the weapons of our warfare” are not carnal, but are MIGHTY. . .
Faith in God is a sustainer against satanic attacks but prayer is required to support our faith to stand strong and grow.
When our faith is strong, the devil will always loose his battles against us.

God has ordained continuous victory for the believer but we all have a part to play in prayers. I am looking forward to hearing lots of testimonies of victory from you as you commit to building up your faith.

God BLESS you.
