From Glory to Glory Greetings to you in Jesus Name.
In concluding this month’s series on the Lifestyle of Faith, let us examine yet another “booster” of Faith which is Right Association.
The kind of association you keep can positively or negatively influence your faith. For instance, a wrong association will weaken or kill your faith, while a right association is a booster to your faith. This is why wise men keep company with people who inspire and help them build their faith.
In Mark 5, Jesus was invited by Jairus to heal his sick daughter but on His way to Jairus’ house, he received news that the girl had passed. Jesus knew that the little girl would live again, so He continued on his journey to pray her back to life; unperturbed. The interesting part of this bible story is that He had to carefully select his companions to include only those who had faith in what He was about to do.
Mark 5:37 “And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James”. KJV
By this example, Jesus exemplified the need to be mindful of the company we keep.
Proverbs 27:17 “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.…” KJV
As we begin the midst of the year prophetic season, avoid faith killers, choose friends and associates that will consistently inspire your faith because this is that time where your Faith must begin to work wonders.
God BLESS you
From Glory to Glory!
