Greetings to you in the Name of our LORD and saviour, Jesus Christ.
I am sure you had a great first week of the year. We are already in Week 2 and the journey of the year 2018 continues. This year has been prophetically declared a “My New Dawn” year and it is my prayer that that will be mine and your experience indeed.
“18Remember ye, not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
The verse of scriptures above substantiates the promise of God regarding the New Dawn prophecy. God is set to make ALL things new and to do strange and unimaginable things but there is need to pay attention to verse 18, which comes before the promise in verse 19.
Verse 18 warns us not to set our minds in the past. In other words, we are enjoined to think about new things and then trust God to bring them to pass. This is more so because we cannot dwell on the past (old things) and expect God to do new things in our lives. God acts in line with our thinking. (Eph 3:20)
God desires that we renew our mind and get rid of the old pattern of thinking so that the New Dawn prophecy will become a reality in our lives.
The ongoing 21-day prayer and fasting give us another avenue to renew our spirit man, in readiness for the reality of My New Dawn. My prayer for you is that you will enjoy Divine strength as you engage in this 21-day spiritual exercise.
God BLESS you!
