My New Dawn Greetings to you in Jesus Name and welcome to another week.
We are still expatiating on the topic:  making 2018 a glorious year and I will like to continue from where we stopped last week. Last week was centered on the study of the WORD but this week I want us to address “Doing the WORD,” or simply put, learning how to apply the WORD to real-life situations.

The Word of God is Powerful; it upholds all things but the Power of the WORD cannot be tapped into until the WORD is put into practice.

In Luke 5, Peter struggled to catch fish in the lake of Gennesaaret and having toiled in vain all night, he had actually given up until Jesus Christ intervened by giving him an instruction: 4 “Launch into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught” (Verse 4)

That was an encounter with the WORD of God!
When that Word was spoken, the Power in that WORD was released for Peter’s benefit but the profit did not come until He practiced what he heard. 5 “…nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.” Vs. 5

Peter did not just receive the Word; he put the WORD into practice it by casting his net into the sea in obedience to the WORD of Christ. As a result, in the same lake where they had caught nothing earlier, they saw great results beyond their expectations. 6 “. . .they inclosed a great multitude of fishes…” (Vs. 6)

It is not enough to receive the WORD of God, you must do the WORD in order to enjoy the benefits of it. Therefore, this week, I beseech you to commit yourself to WORD practice and watch how things will begin to take a new turn for you.

God BLESS you.
