From Glory to Glory Greetings to you and welcome to the 2nd week of this month of July 2016. As we continue in our series this month, I will like us to take a look at another vital key to sound health: the key of Nutrition.

This very important key is often neglected by many. As much as Revelation, (which we addressed last week), empowers the body and plays a very important role in keeping it healthy, it is also very important to feed the body well in order to live in health.

Psalm 103:5 “Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” KJV

What goes into our mouth as food helps to keep our bodies fit. That is why we have to be mindful of what we eat and drink. We need to be certain of the benefits (or adverse effect(s)) of what we eat on the body before we indulge. Just before we eat, we should also be able to ask ourselves, “am I eating this to please my desire and appetite or is it really good for my body?”

Without questions, junk foods and drinks can be very fascinating but we have to make a choice to be disciplined when it comes to what we put inside our bodies. We have to always remember that since every seed produces “after its kind,” healthy foods (not junk foods) will always keep us healthy.

In his sovereignty, God has placed us here on earth as vessels to extend the influence of His Kingdom, so we need to take care of our bodies by making wise choices regarding what we feed on. There is also a saying that “Health is wealth” and one of the ways “wealth” is acquired is by making right choices.

As we occupy till he comes, please make a right choice in nutrition so you can enjoy sound health.
