Exemption Greetings to you and welcome to another great week!

All through the month of July, we have been addressing the subject of Vision (Divine Plan & Purpose) and Divine Direction. Our main focus was on the red lights to watch out for while in pursuit of our God-given vision and we addressed themes like fear, wrong association, procrastination, and isolation. This week, I’ll like to conclude the series by taking a look at another major enemy of our glorious destiny. This enemy is called: IGNORANCE.

Knowledge plays a very vital role in our pursuit of God’s plans and purposes for our lives. Knowledge equips us for the task ahead and it is important that we get adequate knowledge before we “step-out” with our God-given vision.

Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:” [KJV]

In Eccl 10:15, the wise King Solomon speaks about getting weary in labor because of lack of adequate knowledge, As a matter of fact, he described not acquiring enough knowledge before stepping out as an act of foolishness.

In order to fulfill his divine purpose as a deliverer of Israel from the torments of Pharaoh, Moses spent time acquiring knowledge on the ways and customs of Egypt (Acts 7:22). He was well-versed with the tactics of the magicians in Egypt and this; coupled with Divine backing, made him successful in his God-given task.

Without a doubt, many believers have failed in their assignment because they neglected the place of learning. The Bible records that Jesus Christ, even as the son of the Most High God sat in the midst of doctors to listen to them. This He did to demonstrate to us the importance of having a quest for knowledge.

Always remember that you are a child of Destiny. You have a Divine task and in addition to the Divine backing, you need to acquire knowledge in the areas of your call because ignorance can be very costly!

God BLESS you.
