Greetings to you and welcome to Week 4 of the month of July 2017.

In the last three weeks, we have been exploring the subject of Vision (Divine Plan & Purpose) and Divine Direction this month, and this week, I’ll like to share another enemy of a great and glorious destiny. It is the enemy called ISOLATION.

Isolation in this context means not relating with people who matter to your destiny. From experience, I have a first-hand knowledge that when you begin to take steps to run with your God-given vision, God strategically places persons who matter in the fulfillment of that vision on your path; people who have roles to play in the fulfillment of your purpose. Rather sadly, many people isolate themselves from these ‘destiny helpers.’

“…But how tragic it is for the one who is all alone….”

[Ecclesiastes 4:10 – (GW)]

There is a wise saying that “a single tree cannot make a forest” and Solomon further buttressed this in his writings found in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12. The Biblical accounts below add credence to the assertion that right relationships (not isolation) are necessary for the fulfillment of destiny.

The life and earthly ministry of our LORD and savior and Jesus Christ is a clear reflection of the place of right relationships in the fulfillment of destiny. He had 12 disciples who lived with him. Some of these disciples later became great “pillars” of Christianity after His death and resurrection.

Even while in captivity in Babylon, Daniel was not in isolation. He had Shadrach, Meshach and Abegnego as friends who joined him in prayers concerning the King’s Dream. (Daniel 2:17).

One other amazing example is the story of the mighty and honorable captain of the host of the King of Syria, named Naaman, who was very sick and all he needed to be healed, was information from his little maid.

Many people have lost track in the pursuit of their glorious destiny by reason of isolation and I beseech you to refuse to be part of that statistic. You are a child of Destiny and you need to embrace your God-ordained relationships in order to fulfill your glorious destiny.

God BLESS you.
