From Glory to Glory Greetings to you in Jesus Name and welcome to another brand-new week. Proceeding with our series this month, I’ll like us to see yet another deadly enemy of Praise. It is the enemy called OFFENSE.

As mentioned in service last week Sunday, Praise is one of the ways we get prophecies fulfilled, just like Abraham our Father did. The bible records that he was giving Glory to God even while still waiting for the birth of his son Isaac (Romans 4:17-21).

While waiting for prayers to be answered or for the promises of God to be fulfilled, many people are tempted to get offended, thinking that they have been neglected or treated in a way they don’t deserve, especially if such people are dedicatedly and actively serving God; and believe that they have done all that is needed to get their prayers answered and expectations met.

Situations like this often make men withdraw from praising God. It also hinders God from receiving the praises of those who praise Him in such a mind-set.

Matthew 11:6“And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.” KJV

Remember that Paul and Silas? The both of them were imprisoned for preaching the Gospel. The devil must have whispered a lot of questions into their ears, such as:

  • “Where was God when you were arrested?”
  • “Why did He not send angels to fight and resist your arrest?”
  • “Haven’t you wasted ENOUGH quality time preaching about Him?”

These were enough to stir offense in them but they refused to be offended in God. They rather chose to praise Him from a joyful, grateful and offence-free heart and God intervened in their situation in a BIG way.

He is still the same God, He still does mighty things and He has you in mind as next for a Supernatural change of story. Therefore, do not be offended. When you don’t know what else to do, still praise Him and watch how He does His wonders in your life.

God BLESS you
From Glory to Glory!
