Welcome to yet another greet week in this glorious month of September, 2016. As we continue to explore the enemies of a glorious destiny, I will like to point out yet another big one this week. It is the enemy called WRONG ASSOCIATION.

Examples abound in the bible (and equally all around us), of so many people with big visions, who became failures in life simply because they kept wrong associations. These people became victims of the negative influences of these wrong associations and were robbed of the glorious destinies God had pre-ordained for them.

Wrong associates are usually Dream Killers. As a matter of fact, whenever you receive a vision from God, there is always need to evaluate your current association to determine who is safe to still keep around you.

Proverbs 27:17  “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”  KJV

Your association will either contribute towards the fulfillment of your vision or hinder you from fulfilling it. You should bear in mind that that every genuine pursuit of God’s plan for one’s life will always cost you some of your friends. This is what many people do not understand and where many fail because they do not discern what association is beneficial per time. On the other hand, there are a lot of others who just do not have the courage to part ways with unproductive friendships and association.

In Acts 15:36-41, Paul considered the association of John Mark detrimental to his vision, so he parted ways with Barnabas who insisted on having association with John Mark. John Mark was obviously, was not fully engaged in the pursuit of the vision they had. Shortly after Paul made that bold decision and rose to become a Kingdom giant, while Barnabas faded away and evidently never fulfilled the glorious destiny God had for him.

Be wise in choosing your friends and know when certain friendships expire, because WRONG ASSOCIATION will forever be an enemy of a glorious destiny.

God BLESS you
From Glory to Glory!
