Bible-Based Faith (Part 2)

Greetings and welcome to week 2 of this month of exploring Bible-based Faith. As we continue exploring the subject of FAITHour focus this week is on the “builder” of Faithwhich is Prayer.

Faith is a very powerful force and requires a lot of attention so that it does not lose its potency and efficacy, and one of the ways of ensuring that is through prayers.

Jude vs 20  “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying…”    KJV

The scripture above reveals that in prayers, faith is built up.
Prayer raises our faith level, which in turn helps us to stand firm in our Christian journey.  In Luke 22:31-32, Peter, a disciple of Jesus Christ, was a target of the devil. The devil desired to “sift him like wheat” but he was rescued through prayers for his faith. The devil is still in the business of trying to get Christians to derail by attacking our faith but we can build strength against his wiles on the altar of prayer because Prayer fortifies Faith.

Faith needs prayer support for it to stand strong and grow.
With strong faith, you are guaranteed to win every single attack of the devil; this must be the reason Paul placed faith as a key when he wrote about the weapons of our warfare in Ephesians 6:16.

Always remember that God has ordained an ever-continuous victory and Dominion for you but you have a part to play in prayers. I am sure I will begin to hear lots of testimonies of victory from you as you commit to building up your faith.

God BLESS You
